| SKIN TECHNICAL RIDER (Click here to download as Word document) As of 11/04 This show is a full multi-media production consisting of two musicians at workstations on opposite ends of the stage flanking a large projection screen. Live music elements include drums (electric and acoustic), synthesizers and guitar. Video projections run throughout the show synchronized with smpte timecode to the music. In fact, the visuals are as much (if not more) a part of the show as the musicians. The stage can be flanked by two 23 foot tall rigs with fabric. Video projectors project images on the fabric throughout the show. During parts of the show, performers will climb the fabric and do aerial acrobatics as images are projected on them. There are several incarnations possible of the show. Our equipment includes: video decks (with s-video/composite/or component out) Load in and setup of full show with rigs requires about 3 hours under normal circumstances.
We require a fairly robust sound system, but are fairly self sufficient when it comes to channel requirements, we function very well on a live stage, but are flexible enough to work with a sound system with minimal channel inserts (i.e. one designed for dj’s or film and video projection) Channel requirements: No lighting required…all lighting will be provided and midi controlled from the stage
3000 to 10,000 lumen projector (depending on venue and throw distance) For aerial acrobatics/slide projections: aerial fabric can be hung from load bearing structures if they exist on site. We also own two free standing aerial rigs for outdoor venues or venues with no ways to tie in to the ceiling. The free standing rigs MUST be guy wired at 23 feet… guy wires can be driven into the ground, or attached to 50 gallon water barrels depending on the venue… Overhead and front view schematics of the stage setup are attached.
